Hello all.
I'm almost ready to install a new reef in my cave. I have been looking everywhere trying to find a new setup (tank and stand combo). Can someone point me in the right direction? Minimum size I am looking at is 120g, max would be mid 200's. I'm leaning towards a stand fit for peninsula style setup.

Thanks!

Are you looking for custom built?

I think I may need to do a custom build if I do decide on the peninsula style setup. If I don't go that route I can go for custom or mass produced.
I just came across the CAD Artisan II and really like the looks of them but I need to do more research(never personally seen one).
My location is not good for aquarium shopping so I'm pretty much stuck with ordering online.

Okay so far I have come across two sites.
Saltwateraquarium.com
fishtanksdirect.com
I put in for an availability/price quote for a custom tank through fishtanksdirect. Just waiting for reply.
I also am eyeing the 150g and the 165g artisan II.
If anyone uses any other websites for your tank purchases please let me know.
Thanks!

If you where getting an aquarium of around 150 gallons would you go glass or acrylic? Pro's vs Con's?
Also if acrylic what would the minimum thickness?

I have read a lot of conflicting stuff. I don't know the details of acrylic tank construction so trying not to make a mistake.
Thanks everyone!

Fish room is in final stages. Getting ready to confirm my custom build to begin.
Peninsula build measuring 60x30x24(height).
I'm looking for suggestions on water movement. I currently have mp40's however I was looking at what people would recommend? I want flow off back wall only. My idea was to have sps on back half of tank and transition into lps and clams.
Thanks

Help me out here I'm torn.

Red sea peninsula 650
or
Custom built 60x30x24

everyone in the house likes the red sea, but I'm thinking the extra 5" width might be nice to have..
thoughts?

I'd go with Red Sea, they are built with meticulous precision and you will be happy guaranteed. I don't know the custom builder so can't give you a recommendation on them. 5" for a trade of a solid build is worth it to me...

Well Just completed the 72 hour presale registration for the Red Sea 650 Peninsula.
Now begins the wait.

Shaped Shallow on Top of Section with Deep Wall Section.

Like a Upside down L.

Between the Two? the Custom, the 5" could be a lot of a difference in Long run. And the comfort of the extra gallons always appealing.
