Siphon what you can out and then just let it run it’s course. It’s just the initial bloom. As long as it doesn’t get out of control, I wouldn’t mess too much with it.

I used vibrant and that helped a lot. but you have to follow the instructions and take it slow. Vibrant does not get rid of NO3 and Po4. you still have to watch those levels but this is a very common problem, I was warned about it before it happened by a lot of other people because they all went through it. There are a lot of other ways to deal with it this is just how I did. Welcome to reefing and I hope you like reading a lot.
