I got these 3 for 17$ in Huntington the other day but I can't remember what they are called!

I know one is some sort of zoanthid but it doesn't open all the way only a few actually even open at all!

One is a sun coral or something I have it written down in my tank note book

And this one I have no clue!
I know it's not a galaxea as someone said I could be and I looked into it definitely didn't look like that when it was open at the store

It almost grows funny little stick arms and the tops don't open like a flower they just grow in diameter as the arm things come out(not far maybe a 1/2 inch at the biggest arm)

Thank you for help this is my first post!!!!

Welcome! That's a Goni, Gonipora IMO

mid flow and bottom to mid placement. Goni's can be finicky though. I've tried to keep them multiple times in my SPS dominant tank and they just dont like the low nutrient systems.

Dang the shop told me it's a super easy coral[emoji849] my fault for not researching

it is very easy to take care of for most peeps. :) its only if you have a low nutrient/SPS dominant system that you can run into issues with them. :) they like "dirtier" water.

Well they are doing okay right now! Maybe because I have a really simple tank set up and no skimmer, they did get knocked down onto the sun coral and now they look burnt:(

So these finally opened could you tell me what these are? And the burnt coral:( of course the one that came of the most burnt off... I used turkey Baster to get the burnt part off

Cleo thinks it's feeding time

So the goni definitely looks like it got beat up a bit, but should recover given time. The other coral is green zoas.

I have been successfully keeping gonios for years. Low nutrients is not the issue, they eats fine particulates from low flowing water. It can be detritus, tiny planktons or fine powdery foods meant for clam and filter feeders. I think mine survived and growing as my dragon wrasse is stirring sands all the time. I still do broadcast feeding of gonio powder twice a week to feed everything in my tank.

How low of a flow?
