Help me ID this pest - Aiptasia?

So this frag has taken a turn for the worst the past few days out of no were, and then I noticed this guy on the right showing up.

It is pale white IRL and from what I've researched Aiptasia has a light brown tinge.. What is this?

Monti eating Nudi, extremely had to get rid of. Need to pull the frag, dip, scrap eggs, and repeat for a few weeks.

Worth it to try and save the monti? or just take the loss at this point. Should I also be concerned about it spreading through eggs or will that mainly be isolated on the plug?

Eggs and reproduction is the concern- I’d ditch it

Perfect thank you so much. I think I'm going to do just that. I have two other montis that are doing fine and sometimes you have to just take the loss on these things vs lose the rest.

Alabaster nudibranch

Not likely, Alabaster Nudibranch live in the Northeastern waters. That water is way to cold for a reef tank. Back to Monti eating Nudi. My buddy had them and they look just like the photo provided. He has been reefing for 16 years and he could not get rid of them and lost some nice Monti.

Just went to my pc unit rather than phone and looked at OP pic, and looks more like a phestilla which is monti and coral eater. Will go after coral like birdsnest

I do not believe so. From what I know, they only eat Montis.

Update, took him out. Wasn't a nudibranch. Honestly didn't look like aiptasia, maybe it was just some sort of sponge? Wasn't risking anything though since the coral was toast for sure.

That is great news that it wasn't a nudi! They are one of the worst pests to deal with for sure.
