I have been using a calcium reactor for over a year now. I have only recently noticed that ph is running low due to my calcium reactor. (7.6 at night 7.9 during the day). I have tried adding recirculating co2 scrubber with no improvement at all. I also recently added Kalkwasser reservoir on a doser to help boost my pH at night. I also did not notice change in pH. It is still around 7.6 ph at night even with co2 scrubber and dosing 20 ml of BRS Kalkwasser every hour for 12 hours at night (2 tsp for 1.32 gal of water). Should I dose more Kalk or Is there another way to increase my pH? Thanks for the help in advance!

If it ran for a year with no issues then I would not chase pH.

Using a vertex calcium reactor with a ph of 7 but flow all the way open

I run my vertex RX-6 at 6.5. 7 would be fine. How is your CA and Alk readings ?

For reference my effluent is 40ml a minute and 48 bubbles per minute.
Effluent dkh is 20-25.
Effluent ph is 6.5.
I run the effluent into a small chamber filled with coral bones.
I run manmade media in my carx.
Do you know your effluent dkh.
Sounds like at full open your system is allowing to much co2 to enter your tank.
