Hello

Im building a new 180 gallon bare bottom reef.

I designed a scape that I think I like but it's balanced.
If I breathe too hard it will fall apart.

How can I make the structures solid?

Never used it, but E-Marco cement seems to get rave reviews.it is what I would try if I needed it.

I never used glues so cant really say, but I can say I like your layout. I have a 180 also that has been up 10 years. It has the inventive and stylish rock wall on the back.

Hey NY_Caveman...

I think I'm going to order some. It does have good reviews.
This structure is going into my 180 gal build.
Check it out if ya like.

Thanks! I missed that one! I think your aquascape came out very nice. I am not a huge fan of arches (just my personal taste, of course), but overall I really think it is interesting with lots of depth. BTW, it does seem to spell out "HO" if you look at it from the correct angle, LOL.

Thanks @NY_Caveman

I wanted something different. Something I can put corals on and have them spread out.
Something that's open so I can have massive flow. Something that has depth and a 3d"ish appeal.

It does kind of spell out "ho".
That was completely unintentional.
Lol

Looks like no too me. Now I can’t unsee it!

I just used e Marco for my 150 and it's amazing. Attached a few 10+ lb chunks together and can pick them all up by the top of the scape. Have a bit of cement left over for another tank too. Little hard to work with wet but once you get it formed it locks the rocks together very well.

E-Marco is AMAZING!
Really easy to use and STRONG!!! I have cemented large rocks into a shelf (overhang) that really should have been almost impossible to do but the E-Marco held it together with ease.
I tried the Jurassic gel first but it did nothing. I'm sure it's great for frags and putting together smaller rocks but it was no good for the larger stuff.
I will take pics soon of my work.
