Hello Everyone! I've been on a bit of ride combatting GHA in my DT for the last 7-8 months and I've finally started to turn the corner just recently after sticking with weekly vibrant dosing for the past 4-5 months! I'm beyond excited since I've had my corals in QT this entire time waiting to beat out the GHA before adding them. However the scripts has been flipped and recently one of my corals skeletons (pipe organ) has become covered with what I'm quite certain are dinos although it is for the time being only on the one coral. So clearly I would like to get a head of this but I'm looking for thoughts on what would be the best way to do so. These dinos are not the kind that jump into the water column at night otherwise I'd start by implementing UV. My Nitrates in both tanks are somehow zero according to red sea- I do not have a phosphate checker at this time but will hopefully be getting one soon.

Option 1: Raise Nitrates and phosphates by upping coral feeding to twice weekly and possibly get a hermit crab for the tank (at the moment there are only 2 trochus snails)

Option 2: Move all the other corals to the DT while I continue to dose vibrant and start dosing vibrant to QT as well

Option 3: Same as option 2 except try and beat and beat the dinos with something other than vibrant

Option 4: Move all the corals, including the one with the dinos to the DT tank and continue dosing the DT with vibrant to beat it out along with the hair algae, break down/ clean out the QT and get it ready for the next batch of corals.

Option 5: Something I'm not thinking of... Open to suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

I just got this sent to me from one of my local Club members.. it's an interesting read regarding Dino's..
Thanks for the article! That is very intersting read and I really hope thats repeatable process! With that said I'm not going to jump the gun and try it- these are my first corals and I'd be heartbroken if something happened to them just because I was over eager and tried something before some more questions about that process are answered.
