Help me pick one

So I’m trying to decide on a Skimmer for my non drilled 40g breeder. I’m looking at either the reef octopus 1000 or the tunze 9004dc. Any opinions on these or maybe a different one too. Thanks for your help

Can’t go wrong with the Tunze. I have the AC version of the 9004 and it works really well.

Do you think the dc version is worth it or the ac does just fine?

The Tunze DC imo is better. Two reasons, one the pump is quieter and two you can fine adjust it easier then with just an AC pump.

I would spend the extra for the dc version. I’m actually thinking about upgrading mine to dc. I would have saved the difference if I had bought the dc in the first place.
