I do not know how to plumb anything to save my life. This is the first attempt i will have at plumbing a tank so go easy on me here, use small words, and link parts from BRS if possible. I will try to provide as much info as i possibly can! Thanks so much in advance for the help from the wonderful r2r community!

Tank: 48Lx30Wx20H eurobraced, Drilled for Reef Savvy ghost overflow and 2 3/4" return lines (I think..)
Sump: Reef Synergy cl-34
Return: Reef Octopus Varios 6

Again, I know NOTHING about plumbing. I would prefer to avoid having to glue things if that is an option some how.. but understand if it isnt. I dont need any manifolds for reactors or anything either. Litterally i dont even know what i dont know lol so if there is more info i Can provide to help out i absolutely will!

Pictures to come shortly of what i Have and what i am thinking.

Looks like you will need a overflow box in the middle. Which will be plumbed to a sump. You'll then need a return pump to push the water back into the tank on the edges for your returns.
That's a very simplified thought. There's lots of ways to plumb a tank depending on wants and needs.
Best to do lots of research and dry fit everything before you start gluing together.
Here's a link to brs tank plumbing

Found some great reading material.
http://gmacreef.com/

Yep gmac is a brilliant site + BRS 160 youtubes + youtube 'reef tank plumbing' and watch a few and you will be an expert in no time!

If you dry fit everything first (join by hand and no glue) and run your system with tap water to test and confirm before gluing you cant do any harm (except leak tap water, do it outside if you can)

just be careful when gluing, when you dry fit the pipes, they won’t seat all the way until you glue them.

Well i ordered the pieces i think Ill need. Guess we will see if im handy or not lol!

It’s not as hard as your making it out to be. Just have a plan.
