My BTA stung my favia while I was out of town about two weeks ago. I moved it to a new spot and it has slowly been losing its color and I'm worried I'm going to lose it all together. Is there any way to save it? Pics attached are a close up and where it is currently in the tank. Please help me save it!

Unfortunately whatever the bta touched is probably a gonner. You may get lucky and some polyps will live. Id say to leave it alone and let it do what its going to do. Did you move the bta or the favia? Try keeping your bta on its own rock so you can move it easier. In the future you can put your bta in the sump if you go out of town

The BTA moved on its own after sitting in the same spot for a month. Seems that it likes extremely strong flow because every time I move the power head it goes infront of it. I also moved the favia to the spot it's in right now.
