help me save this coral please

i had it on top of the tank for 8 months doing fine
i have since moved it to the bottom(prolly a panic move)
i alk slipped 2 dkh i have got it back up slow but was needing advice or suggestions it still seems to get more white each day

I would frag it and try to save the good sides, dip the rest on Revive.

i was thinking that just hate to do it and stress it out more
have tried it with acans and they all died anyway

Did it get stung by another coral? Did that happen gradually or all of a sudden? Almost to a coral the favias I have get better color and thrive placed low in my tank. Could it have been getting too much light? I do second a Revive treatment though. That works well for me. Good luck.

His alk dropped to 2 dKH.

I am going through the same thing with some of my corals. STN due to alk dropping to 7 and ph at 8.0 temp went up to 82* Lost a lot of SPS (8-9 frags/colonies) and 1 Trachy and am now loosing a maze brain. Frag what you can, make sure you cut in to the good flesh and dip it. If you leave even a little of the STN, you will probably end up loosing the whole frag.

no i am sorry my dkh went from 9 to 7 down 2
