I have a 40 gallon breeder that has been on the back burner for close to three months now...

I started "old school" with 3 Hydor 600gph and 1 425gph. I was going to use an old Oddysea 36 inch T5/MH combo, so I bought new Giessermen (spell check lol)aqua+ 39 watt bulbs. I also went with the always reliable Eheim Jäger, 100w, a large CPR AquaFuge2, and a trusty old Super Skimmer 65.

Now here I sit, with all this equipment and a plan that fell apart under a wave of starting my breeding company and website.

So the plan is off...all new equipment to replace most of this. The Hydors are our, Vortech MP10 is in. Oddysea is out and this is where I NEED YOUR HELP reef2reef.

How to do I light this thing with LEDs that are 100% dimmable using an Apex controller?

Another HUGE THING is can I remove the center-brace safely from my tank? I'm a breeder, not an engineer or even a DIY guy

My 40b doesn't have the center brace. My glass is pretty thin too. You probably don't have to have it. There's a few led setups that are nice and getting cheap. I'm looking at reef breeders for my next setup. There's a few made that will fit perfectly over a 40b and are cheaper than my DIY setup.
