I’m trying to figure out what to stock my Red Sea 260 with. I currently have one clown that was transferred from an old tank, his mate passed over a year ago. I also have one blue chromis and a royal gramma. My tank will mainly be softies for corals, I have one BTA that has been transferred from the old tank and a small star fish that I can’t recall the name of. I have 50 pounds of rock with plenty of hiding spaces and tunnels to swim through. Id really like some good color and movement in the tank, but I’d like to keep the price tag relatively low per fish. I also would like to take advantage of the most amount of fish this tank could comfortably handle, so any input on that would be greatly appreciated.

side note - I’d like to try purchasing fish online, I see all the websites, but to me they all look the same. What’s your experience been with any specific online store and who do you recommend trying

Just me but I wouldn't buy any fish online right know. I've bought from LA/DD Vivid Aquariums & have heard some here like TSM Aquatics. As far as fish a Dwarf angel would work or damsels, chromis, cardinals are about the cheapest since you want quite a few.

live aquaria has been great for ordering fish. only 150 to get free shipping and there's usually some kind of 15% off discount code.

You could consider some kid of wrasse. A long nose hawkfish is cool. A goby. A starry blenny. so many you could choose from
