I’ve got a 30 gallon with an orchid dottyback, and a clownfish thats been the only clown in the tank for awhile. Any suggestions to get some color and movement in the tank?

quick warning, the fish in your tank might get aggressive to any fish you might add to the tank. as with any angel, you might see coral nipping they are hit or miss. i would suggest a wrasse, maybe wetamorella nigropinnata also another wrasse that might will pick at pests is pseudocheililus hexataenia but will get aggressive (how long have the fish been in here?)

These fish have been in there together for about 8 months. They were my first additions since I went fallow for marine velvet. I’ve also got two small frags, and platy and a galaxea. Also a large emerald grab for GHA control as well as various CUC

Hammers and torches they have really nice movement and nice colors. And clown fish enjoy them.
Thank you. I’ve also been considering a fishes utility as well, as my schedule can get tight sometimes, I’d like to do the right thing for the ecosystem and have every fish have a job to help keep it clean/stable. Any ideas?

For useful livestock?
I would address your possible problems in your tank now like if you have algae or aptasia and find fish or critters that can fix those problems. This will help maintain the tank.

I have cyano and GHA right now I’m working through.
