Hi,

I want to add ozone to my tank. 90-100g total water volume.

I want a UV ozone, bc I don't want a dryer.

There is two choices 28mg/h and 57mg/h.

Which one to choice?

Ozonizer AquaMaxx Tech-O3 Ozonizer.

For Poseidon I need a dryer.

You do not "need" a dryer. Ozotech is kind enough to provide a dryer should you choose to run one. Any corona discharge unit will perform better when dry air is supplied but 200 mg/hour vs the 28 or 57 mg/hour units is not an apples to apples comparison.

I use Ozotech without a dryer just fine. It is adjustable as well so you can dial it in to your tank. I should have done it years ago

But if something goes wrong, 200mg/h is dangerous. 27-57mg/h is not.

Would you care to cite the source of that information?
Is that a no? I am sure that lots of people reading this would appreciate if you would provide the source of the information that led you to assert this claim.

No badgering the new people
Please cite if it is okay to release 200mg/hour into your home. I know from experience a Poseidon 200 can give you a pretty bad headache.

Not badgering anyone. I waited over 24 hours for a reply to my inquiry of a claim that something was dangerous without any supporting citation.

Not my claim theirs. I never made any claim that 200mg/hour was safe.

I use a 200mg/h unit and it is controlled by a programmable redox controller.
It has a duty cycle of 1min on/4 mins off so it is effectively a 40mg/h Ozone generator.

It is running without a dryer as well, which drops the output.

Nothing unsafe at all provided usual precautions are taken.

I also use a Ozotech Poseidon 200 without a dryer which has worked fantastically for almost a decade.
This is one of the reasons that I would like to know what source is stating that it is dangerous.

In each article about ozone they say about danger of ozone for the tank or humans. So, logically 200mg/h must be more dangerous than 27-58mg. No?

I think the better question is "At what threshold does Ozone pose a danger?".
Let's use C02 levels in air as an example. CO2 can be dangerous. You could say that CO2 is dangerous. Outside CO2 levels around 400ppm is considered normal where I live, does that mean that CO2 levels three times higher at 1200ppm is dangerous? No. Can CO2 kill you? Yes.
Lots of people use 200mg/hour generators without issue, the same company sells 400mg/hour units and these are just small hobby grade units.
Your logic is sound; more of something which has the potential to be dangerous could be more dangerous but without metrics included to support where that threshold of danger is that same logic becomes a blind assumption.

I would stick to the smaller output uv units or skip ozone all together if you have any concerns of safety.

@Sean Clark somebody above stated "Poseidon 200 can give you a pretty bad headache."

I think it's for adult, how about 20lb toddler? So, I want to reduce the risk and take a weaker unit.

Yes, everyone has their own sensitivities to different things and can be affected differently; kind of like algeries.
The weaker unit sounds like it will make you feel like you made to correct choice.

Where did you find this ozone unit?

Another option would be to check out an Oxydator. Check them out as well
