sorry but I have been thinking about this since I have a new hybrid unit coming. I don't know if it matters who made the light or how large but the tank will be mainly SPS/

If a light has say 4 T5's and 4 LED arrays do the LED supplement the T5 or vice versa?

Do you rely on the LED for looks (blue/pop) and go whiter on T5 or still run something like Blue+/Coral+ on the T5 during main lighting times and ramp up and down with LED?

Maybe its just preference?

Hello Rsaalman! In the case of the ATI LED Powermodule Hybrid fixture you can operate it either way. The LED's are extremely powerful and able to grow coral however as we all know T5's are more than capable of growing coral. The beauty of the ATI LED Powermodule is you can mix and match both of these options to suit you and your tank's needs. Should you have additional questions we may be able to help you with please don't hesitate to visit the ATI forum!

Thanks, so pretty much what I thought. It really comes down to personal preference and situation (coral type/tank size)
