I have a 72”x18”x25” (135 gal) FOWLR that I’ve slowly been upgrading in order to convert to reef. I have been running two 36” FluvalSea 3.0 leds. I purchased a 61” aquatic life hybrid and put the fluvals in it temporarily. Now I’m ready to upgrade the leds. I don’t have a huge budget, I’d really like to keep it under $1,000. I’ve been looking at the noopsyche k7s as they seem like a great budget option, but as I’m also getting an apex, I don’t like the idea of one of the most critical pieces of equipment not integrating with the controller I spent so much money on.

Any input would be appreciated.

Posting this since I JUST found these...
You could add plenty of apex controlled blue for a fairly cheap price.
Of course it's bars not pucks.. but technically probably better.

good thing is you can get the RIGHT size..;)
72" bar is $300 X however many plus
Plus $47 X whatever for APEX controlled power supply..

Only actinic or 50/50 atm. Not sure if one could get "custom" or not.

not fancy color channel control per se but output should be good..

ONE CATCH.. not sure the new ones work w/ it..

There are more options..
Oh and need to realize "real" wattage vs listed is sometimes different..162W is not 162 diode watts..

Actually 3 60's might be better.. ;)

I’ll take a look at those. Thanks.
