I am upgrading my home built 40 breeder to SCA 66 gallon starfire PNP system .... dimensions of the tank are 32x24x20 ... only dilemma I have which light to get for beast coverage... mixed reef set up

Thank you all

I use two 16” SBreef lights positioned front to back with their long dimension with the same tank. It is perfect coverage. They are also very inexpensive. I’m currently building some DIY LEDs to use in a similar configuration on my other 66 gallon SCA. They should be just about the same but easily controlled by my aquarium controller. The basic sbreef are just on/off and I wanted the ability to ramp intensity up and down.

It's all about budget first. Then visual color preference. Then t5 metal halide or led.

There are sooo many excellent choices now.

If it were me building it, I'd probably go LED or build a canopy and do a led t5 combo. Ai Hydras or Ecotech radions would probably be my first choices. Really depends on budget though.

Thank you guys. I ended up buying Red Sea Reefer 350 and went with AI Prime HD 2 of them, BM Curve 5, Jabao dct3000,Gyre xf230... fit start

Now I just need to learn how to set proper timers and values for each color to get proper spectrum fur the coral
