Hey all. So, I sold my SPS dominate mix reef a few months ago (RS 250). I am getting ready to move. Once I am all settled in I am thinking of building a LPS only tank (no fish). I want to keep it as low maintenance as possible hence no fish. Got tired of dosing and all the complexities of such.
I am looking at the Fusion Pro AIO 25 lagoon and the RS Max Nano. With the RS it comes with everything + their reef LED 50 light. So, question is... if this was your build which tank would you go with? If it’s the Fusion what equipment will you include. I would like to keep cost down as much as possible so I would say the max will be around the $1k range (same price as the RS Max).
For stocking I am thinking of:
- LPS/Softie only
- No fish (maybe a wrasse or two)
- Would like to add a few Mangroves
- Maybe bare bottom?
Would like to keep maintenance to the minimum with little WC or dosing. This will be done in the next few months. Thoughts? Opinions?
