What's up everyone! I recently bought my first rodi unit so i wouldn't have to buy water anymore and have had nothing but problems trying to find any fittings that fit anything in my apartment. Everything is either hard plumbing or i can't find the right size. I feel like an easy place to connect it is to the shower (also what i feel like is a more standard size and easier to find the right pieces) so does anyone know of any shower size to 1/4" tube anythings???? can you tell i'm not a plumber?

Welcome to R2R! I use an adapter like the one below to connect to my kitchen faucet and it works great or you can connect directly to a water line under your sink with saddle valve..

You can tap into the cold line under you kitchen or bathroom sink with this John Guest angle stop adapter. It screws on for a non permanent attachment. Select the 1/4”x3/8”x3/8“ one.

+1 since you are in an apartment this is the method you should use IMHO. It’s super easy. Shut off water, unscrew line from faucet under sink. Install adapter, reconnect lines.

The only other issue would be connecting the drain line for the unit. It’s a small hole in the drain pipe and a clamp.
