Help me with tank mate ideas, how many puffers??

I have a 40 breeder that was a frag tank tied to my 75 gallon reef and I got bored with it so I turned it into a FOWLR. I currently have a valentini puffer and a scooter blenny in the converted frag tank. I'm struggling on deciding what other fish to add. I want fish with lots of FRIENDLY personality. I'd like to add a pair of frostbite clowns and I would like something else. I wanted to add a second valentini and a couple of blue spot puffers but read I cannot house more than one in a tank. Is that true? Please post your ideas. I was just going to put a rose bta in this tank as I would like the clowns to host in it if possible, no other inverts or coral. What do you guys think?

I would agree toomany puffers will fight and also they create a lot of biolad and with that many puffers can cause some organic issues. SOme of my favorite fish are wrasses for instance leopard and hovens wrasse. one dottyback are great,blennys, firefish there is a whole host of things.

In a 40g you may be able to have second Canthigaster species, but I would make sure it is a different species.
