I need to apologize for the way I acted I was being childish and immature. My mom has devised a plan to build on it meaning we will get a new piece of equipment each week. I agreed it will take longer but the thing that will keep me going is the future. I was too busy listening to my self doubt when I should've been listening to you guys. I will work with my family and do research on fish, tank sizes, coral, nitrogen cycle, and this will teach me two things. 1.Patience is a virtue
2.Its about the journey not the destination.

I hope you all can forgive me for my stupid behavior. I will be more open to thoughts from others and try to deal with my self doubt. Thank you have a nice day.

You’re good.... you’re just young. I don’t mean that to be derogatory. I am suggesting that we’ve all been there before and remember all too well how frustrating life can be at your age. I remember wanting so badly to do for myself but couldn’t. At the same time I remember how much I needed my mom and dad. It’s an awkward place to be. Your apology suggests to me that you’re a good kid but, like me, get frustrated easily and worry excessively about everything.

The idea of buying one or two pieces at a time is a good one. Also, look into the AIO systems. If you’re impatient like I am, it may work better. I’m into instant gratification so it was a perfect first setup.

First you say sorry about cursing but then do it again? You remind me of a member not long ago, what a coincidence....Sorry, your erratic behavior and mood swinging post are eerily recognizable. Others might not know what I'm referring too but the ones who do will no longer be pulled into this and "help" you. Your violating rules by cursing on purpose, I'd suggest looking over the forum rules a few times. Good luck, I'm out of this one.

I don’t know how close you live to Clifton NJ. I am in NJ and Absolutely Fish is an excellent store with excellent staff and are extremely helpful. That is where I have gotten everything besides the tank and stand and sump. Everything live in my tank is from that store. Just some advice if your close to the store.

I do kind of. I'm trying to get equipment and tanks and stuff first.
