What is your water change schedule? Do you dose anything?

Mg and Ca are suspiciously low. What kits are you using to test those? Can you double check those results at a local fish store?

What is your salinity? Is that measured with a calibrated refractometer?

Salfert test and salinity 1025 Ido double check all test true

Have you tested your make-up saltwater? I would suspect either testing error or a bad batch of salt.

If make-up water tests closer to normal Mg, Ca, and alk, then i would do big water changes. You could also start using bulk supplements to raise those parameters. Start with Mg, raising 100ppm or so per day to at least 1200. Then fix Ca, raising 50 ppm or so a day to at least 400. This will raise your salinity a little bit, so watch that.

Tested salt red sea pro mg was 1080

Red Sea pro salt is icp tested for accuracy. Your testing equipment is likely the issue.

If I were you, I’d take a sample of your freshly mixed salt water into your LFS and get it tested. Mg and ca should test higher than what you are seeing with your test kits. Be sure to get your salinity checked out. You likely have lower salinity than your tester is showing.

IMO don’t trust your LFS to do your testing, get yourself quality test kits, make sure their in date and learn to use them.. to pull big 3 back in line I would recommend 20-30% water changes every few days then dose Kalk or 2 part to keep it where you want it.

1080 and 380 ppm is better, but still not quite right. Something is wrong here. If Mg is really that low, you will have trouble dialing in Ca and alk.

If you have a local fish store, take a sample there and have them double check both your display water and your make-up saltwater for Ca, Mg, alk, and salinity.

I didn't know red sea tested their salt mixes with ICP. That's good to know. People do report bad batches of salt every now and then...although i don't specifically recall what brands. Good luck.
