Hi Guys,

I've finished to filled 45 gallon of ro/di water and ? I'm mixing the salt. I've heard that you have to leave the salt 24 hours with a power head for perfect dilution before going into the tank. Since that's a new tank and there's no live stock do I have to wait that much?

Thanks

you're going to find people waiting 10 minutes to a day. I personally wait about 15-30 minutes with it mixing then put it in. You have no livestock so you have nothing to worry about as far as I'm aware. Just make sure it's mixed without a bunch of salt at the bottom of the bucket and you'll be fine.
