Help! Mosquitos in my auto top off container

Lol good question. Every bug that makes it into my house, eventually winds up in my sump and topoff. I seen amphipods eating the bugs before

You need to find product called mosquito dunk. looks like a donut. Contains bacillus israeliensis. Kills mosquito larvae and is safe for fish. It is made for this purpose.I use it in my koy pond all the time.You can crumble it up to get it in your ATO.
They should be spreading this stuff every where that's wet to combat Zika spread.

I had this happen once so I closed the lid until they died. Then I started leaving it covered and that solved the issue.

I'm sure...mine is just a plastic cereal container from Shop Right...with a couple of holes in it and a tube...

You could grow mosquito larva in the top off. Fish food!

After further review I found that my powerhead inside of my ATO conatainer died on me! explains why they grew back....

I have covered most of the holes and replaced the pump inside as well.

As far as using the larvae for food would love but i can't scoop them out because of the small access holes!
