Help my anemone is stuck in my powerhead.

Please help!! I just got home and found my anemone that had split a week or so ago stuck in one of my powerheads I tried to free him but couldn't without damaging him. Will he come out on his own? I don't have a back up tank to put him in. Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm new to this and don't understand the terminology so please bare with me.

Let it come out on its own.

I am guessing that it is an E. quadricolor (( BTA )), which will help a lot towards it being able to recover.

I would suggest getting some sort of covers for those powerheads.

Thanks Trex [emoji3] I am happy to report its out and did it on its own!! Since the incident the other part is now on the move! To cover the powerheads what would I use?

Glad it came out. Do a search on covers. There are foam covers, but they need cleaned a bunch. There are some making screen covers that encapsulate the whole pump. I don't want to tell you how to build it wrong, but they look pretty decent.

Looking really good.

My pumps (( MP40s and MP10s )) just used the foam covers that came with them --- I clean them with each water change.

Mine didn't come with covers but I'm going to look in to where I can get some. My anemone looks like it's found a spot it likes.. Finally!
