Seems me and Chalices do not get along. This is the second one to slowly die in my tank. Starts with tissue receding from the outer edges.
ALK=9.1

Ph=8.2
Temp=79.1

your parameters seem fine but whats your nitrates phosphates? The next culprit to look into is lighting. Chalices (minus oxyporas) usually prefer low to medium light. Too much light and they will start to recede. There is always a reason behind why certain corals don't make it. Start a list and once confirmed check it off. Sooner or later you'll find the reason. I have around 15 chalices most are on my bed near a shaded area although I do have an ORA easter egg growing crazy on a rock directly under my lights. Good luck though!

I've been playing with chalices for a handful of years now and my parameters are very similar to yours. The only time I've ever encountered problems with any of my chalices is when I get too busy at work and don't get the opportunity to feed regularly. My experience, and I've experienced bleaching as well as tissue recession, is to feed my way through the issue. I rescued a BGM from nearly white in color to a fully colored up colony with great growth in a month or two. When I first got the BGM it was so weak that it wouldn't eat mysid and I rescued through daily feeding with Fauna Marin zoa food (a very fine particle food). How often are you feeding?

I broadcast feed 2x a day using Reef Frenzy. I dose 5ml of Zooplankton 1x a week. I dose 20ml 1x weekly of SeaChem Marine Trace & Reef Plus.
Via Salifert No3 less than 5 and PO4 0.02

It's still putting out lil sweepers at night.

Would a temp swing be the cause? Last night I noticed my temp at 76. Generally it runs 79.2. Then this morning it was at 81. Wondering if this has been going on for a while. I've hopefully corrected this issue today. At least until the new heater arrives. I'm now on guard!

Sorry for the blue pic. iPhones all I've got.

Hard to see, but I don't see tissue recession. I would glue where it is happening immediately. recheck mag just in case and place slightly under a ledge. Do what the others have said also.

I was told to Dip Mine in Bayer to stop the Receeding.

And it worked.

So I would recommend a Bayer Dip.
