I have 2 juvenile mocha clownfish. They have recently started trying to establish dominance and one had decided to find a home. Well, it chose my new, smaller than a frag plug, Goniopora coral! Not my green bubble tip nem. (That one I get somewhat. It has decided likes an area that is right next to my large chromis home) If it wanted a coral, I have a HUGE hammer coral. Instead, it is harassing this flowerpot so it won’t extend hardly at all anymore.

What do I do? How can I convince the clown to move in elsewhere? Preferably before the Goniopora dies!!!

I would find something you can cover it with such as a empty strawberry box until the clown loses interest.

I thought about something like that (mane the top half of a water bottle even) but how would I get it to stay down? Especially on such an uneven surface?

With something box shape just put a small rock on top of it, with a bottle maybe you can just push it down in your sand and get it to stay in place.

The clown will most likely kill the Goni with it being so small, the first thing I would try is to move it to another area of the tank for a couple of days, hopefully the clown will take a liking to something else before it finds it again.
