Outside of the dying clean up crew have you considered turning the led down. Maybe too much light? At least that was my issue when my zoas were closed up and water was good

You said that you were using cuprisorb. What is the reason for running this?

I also purchased a copper test and it showed nothing but I still added cuprisorb to the sump... I don't get it. The sump is a brand new trigger systems cube and it is great I love it. Fish seem to thrive but corals and inverts no luck and it only takes overnight to have a large affect, either the animal looks terrible or dies. I think triton may be my only answer.

I am using cuprisorb only as a guess I figured why not. I have my Radions down to 45% my second arrow crab I put in an isolation box just to watch him he never did much of anything and was gone in 12 hours. On the bright side I can gow me some **** nice rock...

Update,
I am still fighting this problem but something strange happened. I took all the media out except I am running carbon in a reactor.. Last night my son told me the sump had a strong odor and a few hours later at night the skimmer went nuts and overflowed like crazy just like the first two days I put it in. Also the filer sock was ballooned out and seemed restricted and it was overflowing. What could cause this? HELP!!!

Everything already died off all corals and inverts gone, tried a Xenia last Monday it closed up in a few hours. Only fish are doing ok. I need some help.
Thanks, Larry
