Help: My fixture fell in the water

I took it out and unplugged it imediately, it was still on.

It's a maxspect razor.

Today I turned it on. It worked for a minute and then the leds began blinking. I turned it off.

Is it the salt? Should I give at a bath in fresh water and let it dry again?

The control panel doesn't show anything, both channels are locked in 100%, which is what I use anyway.

Any suggestions or is there nothing I can do?

Can the fixture housing be taken off? My gut feeling would be take it apart to expose the inside, assess how wet it is and dry/clean what you can. Of course unplugged! Using a fan blowing directly into the unit to dry it for some hours.

If you can dry it and it works, caution should be used in using it and should be plugged into a GFCI. (Should be anyway)

It's almost 40 degrees celcius outside and very dry and yesterday I left it out to dry.

I disassembled it today and there were still a few moist areas. I was thinking about using a brush dipped in fresh rodi water to clear the salt and let it dry again. What do you think.

If you can take the housing off, do so. Then put it in some rice.

But odds are there may be problems down the road if it got really wet.

I took it appart, cleaned it with rodi water and I left it outside.

It's 39 degrees celcius, very dry and I will leave it for a couple of days and then I will put it inside a bag with rice.

Rice is good. It's what I've used for cell phones when they have gotten wet. I'd still use a fan to expedite drying. Best of luck to you and hoping for the best!

Like any electronic fixture, when its exposed to water it will start to corrode. Rice will pull moisture out of the air which is why people use it to dry out electronics, but whether its now or later I'm afraid you will have problems with corrosion. Cleaning the salt off of the electronics will help and with a little luck you may still get the fixture to work and last a while, but I would start looking at getting a new fixture. Good Luck.
