Help, my frogfish sucked in air.

My frogfish just gulped in a large amount of air and is now floating on the surface of my aquarium. I am extremely worried as he is not expelling any of it. How can you fix this? Thank you for any help

Yes you can burp him, while they may sometimes expel it on their own, it is imperative you don't let it go on too long. Gently, and I mean very gently, crade, cup him in your hand. Massage his lower belly while tilting his head up, then down. Do this very slowly and very gently.

Thank you for the advice. I got him to expel enough of it for him to submerge himself.
