Yes a piece of the skeleton broke and I tried to show in the pictures that just a piece of tissue is holding the other piece of frog spawn on itI could not make out anything from your very blue photos. Frim you description, it sounds like a piece of the skeleton broke. If that is the case, it should be no big deal and with a little time you will probably have 2 corals.
Tried to adjust it on the left hand side of the picture there is one sliver of tissue going down the side of the coral that's the only thing holding on that other part of coral that broke offI could not make out anything from your very blue photos. It has been a few weeks now I just wanted to see how to frag it or if I couldn't frag it but I've never done that.Best thing to do is give it time to heal.
Have u ever fragged? Can u tell me the steps plz if u have? I want to try to frag it so I have 2 coral instead of 1.It doesn’t look like there’s much of the skeleton on the piece that broke off. If you have some gel super glue you can try putting a few drops on the exposed portion of the broken skeleton and stick it back on to the plug. There’s a 50/50 chance it will survive and be fine. As it is right now it will probably let loose from tissue it’s holding onto in a short time anyway.
I will get that piece out and dry the hard part and put Cyanoacrylate gel and glue it to the mother piece or to a rock
Were you able to get it done without issues @SteveNChey
Not a big baby. Lol. Having never fragged anything it does take a bit of confidence in what you’re doing. After you’ve done it you’ll see there’s really nothing to it.I haven't been able to do it yet. I just can't convince myself to cut it off and hurt it. I know I'm a big baby lol!
Thanks I'm just afraid of cutting the flesh cuz I will have to to frag itNot a big baby. Lol. Having never fragged anything it does take a bit of confidence in what you’re doing. After you’ve done it you’ll see there’s really nothing to it.

Ya you can wait and watch until it lets loose itself then stick it to something. I’m not sure how big your tank is and what your rock structures are like but the issue with this approach is the broken piece could get lost in your reef. Do whatever you’re most comfortable with and keep us updated on the outcome. Thanks I'm just afraid of cutting the flesh cuz I will have to to frag it![]()
