My wwc cap has been growing a ton but it has been showing white marks does it need more light or what

Its partial bleaching. I would reduce white brightness and increase blue, moderate water flow. Verify salinity is not high.
Temp 77-79
PH 8.1-8.3
Alk 8-9
Mag 1300
CA 430-450
 
Bummer. I looked and read and it does appear to be injured on the one edge/

when I have noticed blotches in the past i think I figured out that salt was forming on the rim of my tank and when it let go it would drop and mark the corals below. Look for salt creep, or are you adding additives and are they well mixed before they go into the tank?

I mix my salt for 48 hours but I will mix it longer next time
