Help! My tangs got ich

I'd also recommend buying some antibiotics while you're out shopping. Infections are very common with velvet due to the volume of parasites attacking the fish.

Kanaplex, Metroplex, and Furan-2 (dubbed the trifecta) would be a great addition to your fish's medicine cabinet
I’ve got a fresh pac of furan 2 should I does that st the same time?

There's no easy way to answer that question because of the risk of a bacterial bloom. A bacterial infection can be just as deadly as a parasitic infestation

What to do for Velvet + Bacterial Infection - This is the worst predicament to be in, and unfortunately often the most common. :( Due to the severity of velvet, the use of copper or Chloroquine phosphate must commence ASAP. Antibiotics can still be dosed in conjunction, but appetite suppression will likely increase and additional gas exchange must be provided to compensate for the added oxygen depletion. It is also possible that you will encounter a bacterial bloom from combining too many meds. To counteract this, use an air stone or point a powerhead towards the surface of the water in order to supply more available oxygen to your QT. Other tips for accomplishing this are discussed here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/oxygen-while-using-meds.258949/

Unfortunately, oftentimes combining antibiotics + copper/CP will only keep an infection at bay, or it might even get worse. Sometimes using an herbal remedy (such as Melafix) is a wiser and more cost effective option at this point, to just boost the immune system until proper antibiotics can be administered without copper/CP in the water (described below). Another thing you can do to help is give the fish periodic baths using an antiseptic (acriflavine is a good choice). This should slow down the progression of the infection. However, it is imperative to get the fish out of copper/CP ASAP so that antibiotics can be dosed without the immunosuppressant being present. The protocol below explains how to best accomplish this, but also allows NO MARGIN FOR ERROR.

I’ve set up a qt station got some live rock and media from established tank And I’ve got some seed bacteria starter and I got a bunker too I’ve tested for copper and it was normal so I added some of the medicine in. I’m gunna test again and adjust acordingly. Then I’ll alc the fish’s to the qt.
Hang on, if I'm reading that right.. do not add copper first. Add fish first. Then ramp up copper, meaning add copper in small amounts over 24 to 48 hours until you reach therapeutic level. Throwing fish into full copper will shock them and cause problems. Even 24 to 48 hours is not easy on the fish but have to do it that fast to get the velvet under control.

Agreed. I just noticed the live rock thing too. I'd recommend using a seeded sponge from your dt or getting some biospira. I apologise if this has already been addressed

Oops well I ha ent added the fish but I added a partial dose of copper I’m going to test for the copper again because I honestly think I under dosed anyways and is have live rock in the at bad? I got extra and don’t care about it. I’ll get the fish in there ASAP I worked a double shift yesterday and had all this going

The rock can absorb and release copper making it hard to maintain a therapeutic level. I'd test copper daily at a minimum if you keep the rock.
Letting a sponge soak in Biospira pr dr Tim's one and only and placing into the filter would be the recommended way to go.
