HELP! My Torches are losing flesh

Hey guys! Almost all of my torches are losing flesh from the bottom. All my parameters are normal, and other corals are doing great. I tried Revive and iodine dip, didn't see any worms. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you guys!!!

They tend to do that when theyre splitting. I think its fine

IMO they look great, look like the new splits as said above are just receding which is normal

Yeah i thought so too.. but this happened this morning and makes me think it's more than just new splits?

The string looking things are just the flesh.. i was able to blow some off with a baster

This definitely is a sign of issue vs splitting. Anytime the tissue gets that close to the septa or recedes in one specific area, it’s either a parameter or bacterial issue. Did you ever figure out what it was and how has it been since?

I agree! I dipped them in both iodine and Coral MD multiple times.. The first one is still receding , the second one now has two heads with healthy tissue (although the side that split has way less flesh than the other side), and the last one stable.. Everything else in my tank is fine so i assume it was some sort of bug / bacterial issue. Dipping is really all i can do

You can also treat with cipro or antibiotics to kill the bacteria. Glad yours are recovering for the most part. Now it’s all about stability

It does but only during dip. If the bacteria is still present in your water, then it can reinfect. I’m testing in tank treatment for my corals as shared by @AquaBiomics. Low concentration dose of cipro helped solve BJD for him.
