Hi I brought a coral package from my LFS and hoping to get some information from more experienced reefer. I'm new to saltwater but understand the chemistry that is required to keep corals.
Need help with the names of the corals
Is placements for each coral okay?
Is my lowerheads position properly?

Since I'm making this post, hoping to get some tips for transferring tank. I need to move my tank from downstairs to upstairs so I brought a red sea max 130d to help with the corals transport. Planning to setting up the red sea upstairs and get it ready for my corals and fish so I can move the 75 gallon tank upstairs and cycle again.
Is there a fast way to shorten the cycle process?

My set up

75 gallon
Eshopp pf1000 overflow
Eshopp sump rs200
Coralife 65gallon super skimmer ( ordering a larger skimmer when I move my tank upstairs )
2 165w vipersprectra led light ( Amazon )
2 dsunj led spectrum lights ( eBay )
My bio pellet reactors arriving soon from innovated marine
Ordering 2 more media reactors from two little fishes
Setting up a 36 gallon bow front refuigium ( if any tips how to set up s large refug would help a lot such as how should I fill the tank and what' needed to maximize the use of it )
Fluval fx5 canister
Using fluval sp2 for refug return and jabeo 5000 for sump return
Using jabeo wp55 set at lowest
Fluval cp4 and twin head wavemaker from Amazon.
Using 1 inch return pvc
I think around 75-90 lbs of live rocks and 60 lbs of live sand used
I think I got everything listed.
Blue lights comes on at 7am - 7pm
White lights comes on at 9am - 5pm
Set at 45% blue and 20% white because I just got the sps yesterday, slowly increasing each day by 10% for blue till 70-80% blue and 5% each day for white till 35-40%. Does that sound right? Lights are about 5-6 inch from water

Welcome to R2R. For corals I see a mix of acropora, LPS like trachyphyllia, lobophyllia, softies like a yellow toadstool and some green palys. My advice is to take it slow, focus on stable chemistry and ask all the questions you need.

Hi, thank you. Are all the sps in the acropora family?

I just did 15gallon water change so I will test my levels and post here tomorrow. Really hoping Im on the right track. I have aquaforest componet 1,2,3 ( the big jugs ). All the aquaforest supplements like liquid food, etc that says I'm suppose to does every 2nd day. Also got the concentrated Kent marine phyo liquid for feeding pods. I'm doing 15-20 gallon every 2 weeks. Haven't seen anything wrong, matter fact when I first put them in my tank except sps since I just got them yesterday are doing a lot better but the photo was taken today and I rearrange the right side for the sps and moved all corals around. They grew slowly but I notice the big difference when I first got them. I' hoping my lighting is on track and need advice for how to set up my red sea tank using old stuff from my current tank to help cycle faster if anyone got advice

Welcome to R2R Peter. From what I can see of your SPS coral there are 2 seriatopora guttatus (birdsnest) among the acropora. One of the colonies look unhappy. I would start a build thread here. How old is your current tank that your transferring from? Typically when I transfer during a move I make sure my new water is as close as possible in parameters as the old tank. Remember that nothing good happens fast in this hobby my friend.

I will post my levels tomorrow, when I got the pink ones, they almost look the same except when I moved them today, they lost their greens. And other thicker branch sps lost their blues when I brought them, the only one that looks exactly like how I got it is the dark green tips birdnest if I'm correct on species

My tank is 5 months old but I'm not really transferrng because I brought s red sea max 130d to put corals in when I empty my 75 gallon to move it upstairs then cycle again. So for now I want to set up the sea max upstairs till it' cycle and level is similar to my current 75 gallon to move the coral temporary.

Tested my levels today but not sure how to read the dkh test.

My current levels are ;

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
5 mg/l nitrate
0.25 phophrate
440 mg/l calcium
270 mg/l kh
8.5 oh
Temperature 76-78

I have to but mag test as the master kit i got ( nutrafin) doesn' have it.

Is my level proper for corals?
