Hello all. Brand new reefers here. We are setting up a tank using "the package" from Tampa Bay Saltwater. We got our second installment today and Richard threw in a lot of fun extras. Now I have a tank full of great stuff that I was planning to build up to slowly. I need to know how to take care of them. I stuck all the antler/fan type corals in the sand on the bottom. All the rest of the corals I just set on rocks (except one ball thing which is also setting on the sand). Is this OK? Am I supposed to glue them to the rocks? If so with what? Do I need to get any coral food soon? please take a look at these pics and send any advice you have. Thanks!!!
Dan

You don't have to place them in any particular place of your tank but they do need to be in an area of good water movement so sediment won't get lodged internally. You also should feed the tank with small particle food, the fans especially need to be fed often. If any of your sponges get sediment on them be sure to blow it off, i.e. your Yellow Ball Sponge looks to have sediment on it. Good Luck and it's great to see a young man interested in this great hobby! JMO
