I have a 180g saltwater tank. I currently have a large lion fish and a large moon wrasse. I've had them for around 6 months and want to add a couple more fish. I added a 2nd lion fish a few months back and the bigger lionfish got really territorial and ended up killing him.

I'd very much appreciate some expert advice on what type of fish will be compatible with what I already have. Thank you in advance!

Here are some pics of my current fish.

@eatbreakfast & @evolved would have some good advice on this.

I say if you have adequite filtration then a couple large angels would be nice and maybe a zebra eel. Now that I think about it, angels have been known to pick at the tips of the fins on lions, so that may be out. Either way here are some of my Fish Only faves:

Here are few species I have kept with lions, but just make sure any new fish are big enough not to be eaten by the lion.

Eels work well, zebra, snowflake, skeletor, and honeycombs have been fine. Most tangs would work. Rooster snapper, marine betta, niger trigger, harlequin tusk, dragon wrasse, razor wrasse, two spot wrasse, formosa wrasse, blue devil plesiops, most angels and butterflies.

I agree with large angels, large wrasse, I really like red coris wrasse and banana wrasse but banana are pretty aggressive. It's never been an issue for me but may be hard to keep it with your lunare wrasse as they're cousins.

Yellow belly hippo tang, Desjardini Sailfin or purple tang, Stars and Stripes puffer, mappa puffer (one or other), miniatus grouper

All good suggestions. Just be careful mixing wrasse with the lunar already established. If it is still a juvenile you should be ok but an adult male will be very intolerant of similar fish.

If you're going to add another Thalassoma species, I would suggest adding a dew simultaneously, otherwise your existing one may harass the new one to death.

I would also caution about mixing pufferfish with a lion, they may nip the lion's fins.
