Help! Need to remove gorilla tape

I recently (yesterday) placed an LED light on the back of my biocube to grow chateo, however it is blocking me from placing my skimmer in the first chamber.

Any suggestions on how to get it off? I tried to put some rubbing alcohol on it and was using a screwdriver to pry, but I'm concerned about too much force and breaking the glass!

Just tried again after letting the alcohol sit and it came off with a bit of effort... Definitely scared me.
