Hi, Could you help me to confirm if this is ICH?. This Royal Gramma has developed these dots for the 2nd time. When I saw them the first time I initiated hyposalinity treatment at 1.010. After a week in Hypo (1.010) and temp at 80 C and the dots have returned.

Pics under white lights will be very helpful with assessment to assure its ich and not lymphocystis or similar

That reply was fast. I'm still learning how to upload a video. Here are some snapshots I took. The little guy is a new purchase. Hence, I was expecting to carry something. He has been in QT since day 1.

Appears to be ich and you may have to resort to conventional treatment and treat with coppersafe at salinity 1.024-1.025 at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 at 80.5 degrees monitored with a reliable copper test kit- non-api brand

To me, the fourth shot down seems to show gray, oblong spots, not distinct raised spots as you would expect from ich. Is the fish still in full hypo?

Hi Jay, Thanks for replying. I'm taking him out. Today, my target salinity at end of day will be 1.012. I'll keep rising it at .002 s.g. per day and plan to dose copperpower when I get at 1.020. I hope the fish can make it to that. He got the same symptoms about a week ago. That was the reason of the hypo in first place. However, it cleared up and I thought the hypo worked. it seems I was wrong.

Update: The subject didn't survive. Next time, I'll go with the cooper treatment first.
Case is c l o s e d.
