Help needed with algae control

Not sure what’s going on with the DT. Use filter socks change out every 3 days. Skimmer, carbon sock, phosguard, started Dosing vibrant for a week. Have a sea hare as of yesterday. Not sure what’s causing the algae and how to control the the algae. Any help is appreciated

The algae is using the nitrate and phosphate before you can test for it.
Vibrant takes 6 weeks, you should see effects after 3.
Vibrant is an algae eating bacteria.

A blackout might help but I agree that the algae is consuming Ur nitrates/phosphates faster than you can test for it.
