Hi guys, firstly thanks for anyone that takes there time to respond, much appreciated.

So i am 4 month into my new saltwater tank and my water is looking a little cloudy and i have this very thin layer of green algae all over my glass every 6+ hrs. My corals are also a little upset, can anyone shed some light on what might be wrong?. I can’t upload a picture because its not clear enough to see the layer of algae is that thin.

handy direct reference comparison + outcome

I still dont know what caused it we tried all alternates before cheat burning with UV which has fixed ten thousand reefs.

Thanks guys i will be do my params as soon as i am home. My tank is 100L and has a built in fiter system in the back of it.

Sight unseen, running some carbon to help clear the water and Vibrant for the algae on the glass would be my recommendations. Getting nitrate and phosphate in check are your long term goals.
