Hi I have been up and running a few months now, please can anyone help if this is harmful to my tank it started a few days ago, wasn’t sure if it’s just my tank going through a cycle or maybe I have been over feeding my fish

Cyano....
There's many possible causes, really its hard to pinpoint what exactly, but, good thing is that it will go away eventually.
In this early phase, i'm not a fan of chemical solutions to remove it, rather leave it alone, be patient, i know it's ugly, but unless it starts to cover your rock or corals, every now and then vacuum it, and that's it.
Water parameters is good to know, but often, parameters are in "ideal" range, but yet, cyano is still present, personally newer had luck figuring out why cyano appears on my sand based on water testing parameters.

Looks like Cyanobacteria .
it’s said to be part of the beginner or ugly stage as it matures but even established reefs still can get it sometimes .
once upon a time it was said to be a excess amount of nutrients ( feeding too much )
Poor circulation in that spot ( dead spot )
Or even inadequate lighting, wrong spectrum of light .
I would avoid any chemical treatments as they can make matters worse
Water changes and keep a eye on parameters .

I would syphon the sand in that location thoroughly. I imagine there’s a lump of decaying stuff in there somewhere.
