HELP New Apex problem. Note 9 Android

I can find the Apex on wifi.
Select it
Apex.local doesn't load
The app asks for a token


I'm lost.

You cannot use http://apex.local on Android -Android does not have native support for resolving .local names. To connect to the Apex in Wifi setup mode, use http://172.16.0.1

I found that out earlier. Went to Apexswtup in wifi and then advanced and a link(router)showed up and took me thefe. Sadly it never worked. Used my ladies iPhone to set it up after trying for an hour.

These manufacturers have the most **** wifi functionality. It seems to be a theme. I hope the rest of my experience is better. Lol

I currently control everything via Google and IFTTT. I hope I don't miss Google voice doing things for me. Look forward to setting up DOS etc.
