I bought a small orange hammer frag from my LFS last night and when I went to put it in, i noticed the bottom skeleton was cracked and loose, but not all the way. This morning, it had separated off the plug amd the broken part was hanging on. Is there a way to fix it? The meaty parts are still in it and it does SEEM to still be alive.
Please and thankyou

If you still have the skeleton, you might have some luck using a small amount of cyanoacrylate to bond the broken pieces back on. Avoid touching any flesh. Keep it in low flow and keep a close eye on it. Once hammers are upset they take a bit to come back to being happy. You may want to consider a mild iodine dip as a prophylactic to prevent infection once you've reglued it.
It's a bit hard to see how bad it is... Can you take a picture once lights are on?

So I put the 2 halves back together the gest I could and did a bit of gluing at the bottom of the skeleton so hopefully it saves it. Here are some closer pix.
