I just got done acclimating a URFA and I can get him to attach his foot for the life of me in my tank. I called my LFS and they told me to turn the pumps off for 8 hours. I have them off now so it will stay put but I don’t want to leave them off for 8 hours. Anyone have any tricks to get them to attach?

I would not leave the pumps off for 8 hours...this does not seem like good advice. I've found rock flowers to foot down better when they have something to put their foot into, a shell, rock crevice, sand etc. You can lower flow while they attach, but otherwise just give it a little time to do so, should not need hours

Thanks. Yeah I agree. When I heard 8 hours I thought no freakin way. Thanks for the response, hopefully it attaches soon.
