I received my fully Quarantined tang from Dr. REEF today. I performed a 20 min temp acclimation and then a drip acclimation for about 40 mins. The fish looks healthy but he can't swim off the bottom of the tank. Any suggestions on saving him?

Thank you for the response. Yes I carefully drip acclimated and drained off water as I did the acclimation. Okay. Fingers crossed. It's such a beautiful fish and hoping for the best.Did you adjust and match salinity with that of tank ? (important step)
It is likely adjusting to new surrounds and for about 4 hours keep tank lights on Low setting/intensity as it settles. It should start swimming around the next few hours. You can hold off feeding until the evening and even into tomorrow.
Agree with the rest. I would just ask - did you follow the acclimation procedures recommended by Dr. Reef? Various companies have differences. He looks like a nice fish!!Thank you for the response.
