The short answer is less fish, more filtration.

It is thriving but I would still like the nitrates to come down. I know my limitations, as to what will tolerate nitrate and would like to have a tad more diversity, some LPS but not unless the nitrate comes down. Why worry about it your tank is thriving.
I have have sps and lps nems in nitrates as high as yours and phosphates at 0.25.It is thriving but I would still like the nitrates to come down. I know my limitations, as to what will tolerate nitrate and would like to have a tad more diversity, some LPS but not unless the nitrate comes down.
I am not comfortable introducing euphyllia with nitrate being off the chart.I have have sps and lps nems in nitrates as high as yours and phosphates at 0.25.
Did you ever pick up a Nyos nitrate test kit and retest your nitrates ?I will get a new test kit and see before doing anything drastic.
still wondering about use of bio brick ....anybody use them?
The problem I had with biopellets is they do work, but the slimy residue they create (bacterial) can stop up almost anything. I can see where having the biopellet reactor output just ahead of a big skimmer would work, but I was trying to output it back into the tank and catch it on the next filtration cycle. Bad idea! What did you think about the pellets? Nopox does nothing for me, except tick of my leathers
