i used to do the same (get saltwater from LFS) for first few months, then i installed an RO-Buddie, you get RO/DI water for 60$, to avoid the hassle, also for all sorts of emergency uses

Thank you for following up. All livestock survived and look happy. Nitrate level is at 50ppm and phosphate level is at 0.25.

We have a helpful and friendly local reefing club, bareefers.org, you might want to check out. It’s nice (and useful) to have a local community to help when needed. You have several members near you who I’m sure could have helped out directly if you already had a connection with them when you had your “uh-oh” moment.
