So I got my well water tested! It has a softener system
Hardness 9gpg super hard!
Iron 4.0 ppm
Ph 7.0
Tds 175

I still need to test for sulfur though.
I am just curious what you guys reccomend for an ro/di unit and if I would need additional filters.

I use a cheap liquagen 50gpd and added another RO membrane, did a water saver upgrade basically and now I pull down 125gpd.. it sped up significantly.

RO membranes changed once a year same with the 3 pre-filters. It always gives me 0tds even before DI for a pretty long time.

Hey thanks guys! Didnt think to check Co2.

There are so many variants of RODI filters out there. Best option is to find one that fits all your needs out of the box. Even then chances are you will end up upgrading it as time goes on. I started out with a 75gpd unit with a single mini DI chamber. I have since upgraded that to a 300GPD (twin 150 gpd membranes in water saver configuration) unit with a booster pump, drinking water mineral stage, three DI stages as well as GFO stage. Any of the 75GPD units with a large DI chamber will be fine to start with, but you may need a booster pump if you cannot maintain at least 65-75 psi to the RO. Otherwise the rejection rate could be lower than expected and the product water TDS will be higher than you might want and could burn through DI faster.

What's your budget ? I was recommended the aquatic life ro buddie system as a budget option but if your budget is high than just buy something expensive with good reviews .

I started out with a $50 rodi system from Amazon which worked for my needs at the time before upgrading to the IceCap Smart rodi system. It's a bit pricey for a 4 stage system but well worth it IMO. Great features like the built-in auto membrane flush system, leak detection with alarm, timer modes so it can run at preset times, booster pump which improves waste to product water ratio, filter replacement notifications and other features. It's one of my favorite purchases with 0 regrets. More info on it below.

Watch the video, it will give you an idea how to tell what you need. The BRS units themselves are usually pretty well recommended.

I have a aquafx barracuda and love it have added on two filters and an additional ro membrane to mine with chloramine buster. You need to look at your cities water report or if on a well have it tested in order to know the filters you should actually run.
